How to install the pneumatic chuck on a CNC instrument lathe?
1. Take out the connecting sleeve, screw in the screw, connect it to the tail of the spindle, use a dial gauge to correct the outer circle and end face runout of the connecting sleeve and control it within 0.05mm, and tighten the screw.
2. Take out the chuck, wipe it clean with a cloth, and use a caliper to measure whether the size of the lathe flange matches the connection size of the chuck. If it does not match, please finish machining the flange according to the size of the chuck.
3. Take out the spiral tracheal tube, fit the accessory clamp, and install the tracheal tube on the ventilation joint of the clamp. Then clamp the hoop with Lineman's pliers, and do not damage the gas pipe during installation.
4. Wrap the trachea in sections with capsules to ensure smoothness, and then mark No. 1 and No. 2 on the tail of the trachea. Then use fine iron wire to tie the air pipe through the lathe spindle, allowing the air pipe to pass smoothly through the spindle, and hold the stable chuck to move back synchronously and lightly buckle onto the flange.
5. Take out the screw, fix the clamp on the flange, and measure the outer circle runout ≤ 0.05.
6. Tighten the air pipe, cut off the excess air pipe at the tail, and reserve it for about 50-100mm to be filled outside the spindle. And it can naturally bounce back into the spindle, and then try blowing the No.1 and No.2 air pipes to observe whether the chuck moves smoothly.
7. Put on the hoop, connect the No. 1 and No. 2 air pipes with the No. 1 and No. 2 air nozzles on the pneumatic rotator, and then clamp the hoop.
8. Connect and rotate the pneumatic rotator with the thread at the connecting sleeve, and then test blow the No.1 and No.2 air holes. Observe whether the chuck operates smoothly to prevent twisting of the air pipe at the pneumatic rotator.
9. Secure the "anti rotation screw" at the bottom of the pneumatic rotator to prevent it from rotating with the spindle.
10. First, fix the circuit board and switch on the lathe, close to the air pressure rotator, and then connect the air pipe accordingly, introducing a power supply of 220V or 24V.
11. Fill up the oil reservoir on the oil-water separator, adjust the pressure and oil output through ventilation, power on the machine tool, operate the switch, and ensure smooth operation of the chuck.
